Saliva Drug
Test - Pass with Confidence.
Basically there is little difference
between a urine drug test and a drug
test saliva except where the sample originates.
However, the detection times in urine are significantly
greater than detection times in saliva.
-
Are a
little more expensive than urine
testing, but less than hair or
blood. (~$15-$75).
-
Are
considered a relatively unintrusive
method of drug testing.
-
Are
becoming more common.
-
Are easy
to administer but require lab
processing to ensure accuracy.
-
Detect
use primarily within the past few
days.
-
Can
detect more recent use than other
testing methods.
-
Have no
nationally accepted standards or
cutoff concentrations for detection,
making results greatly dependent on
the specific product purchased. This
could also make results
less-reliable and/or acceptable for
legal cases.
-
More
reliable for detection of
Methamphetamine and Opiates, less
reliable for THC or Cannabinoids
(2004).
How To Pass A Saliva Drug Test In
The Detoxify Zone
Saliva based screenings
can generally detect use during the
previous few days. Saliva screenings are
becoming more prevalent because of their
convenience and the fact that they can
not be adulterated.
Furthermore, saliva
screenings in particular enable the
implementation of random testing
programs, proven to be reasonably
effective. Saliva screenings are as not
as accurate as urine. Saliva based
screenings most closely mimics results
found with urine and is preferable for
detecting on-the-job drug use or in
post-accident applications in this case
because the degree of intoxication can
be approximated based on the amount of
substance.
Saliva Drug Test Detection Times:
-
Marijuana and hashish
(THC): An hour after ingestion, and
up to 24 hours depending on use.
-
Cocaine (including
crack): From time of ingestion up to
2 to 3 days.
-
Opiates: From time of
ingestion up to 2 to 3 days
-
Methamphetamine and
ecstasy (MDMA, "crank," "ice"): From
time of ingestion up to 2 to 3 days.
-
Benzodiazepines: From
time of ingestion up to 2 to 3 days.

PASS A SALIVA DRUG TEST
S
IN THE DETOXIFY ZONE

REMEMBER: Over a period
of time, the metabolites start to again leach
out of the fatty tissue and recontamination
takes place. Our products provide a window of
1 hour to 5 hours when your body will test
clean.
We use the
same products for Urine and Saliva Screenings.
Metabolites Stay In Your Body from
One Hour to a Lifetime.
The length of time a Metabolite can
detect depends on the types and amounts of
metabolites absorbed by your body, your rate
of metabolism and your general
health.
The amount of time that a metabolites
remain detectable can vary, depending on the
following factors:
-
Amount and Frequency of
Use: Single, isolated,
small doses of metabolites are generally
harder to detect. Chronic and long-term
use typically result in longer detection
periods near and/or are easier to
detect.
-
Metabolic Rate:
Individuals with
slower body metabolism are prone to
longer detection
periods.
-
Body Mass: In general, human
metabolism slows with increased body
mass, resulting in longer detection
periods. In addition, THC (marijuana's
active ingredient) and PCP are known to
accumulate quickly in fatty tissue.
Chronic users, physically inactive users,
and individuals with a high percentage of
body fat in relation to total body mass
are prone to longer detection
periods.
-
Age: In general, human
metabolism slows with age, resulting in
longer detection
periods.
-
Overall Health:
In
general, human metabolism slows during
periods of deteriorating health,
resulting in longer detection
periods.
-
Tolerance:
Users typically
metabolize faster once a tolerance is
established.
-
PH: PH can impact
detection periods. Typically, highly
acidic samples result in shorter
detection periods.
How
Long Will Drugs Be Detectable.
The length of time metabolites can
be detected depends on the types and amounts
of metabolites absorbed by your body, your
rate of metabolism and your general health.
Detection Times for are expressed in terms a
worse case scenario, the number you should
bet upon to be safe.
