The best way to pass a drug test is not to abstain completely. This should be everyone's goal for health and safety. We will address the other alternative, if abstinence is not an option.

Only court ordered examinations or one who is on probation or parole can be observed while a urine sample is being given. People under these circumstances have limited rights to privacy. If you are not being given a court ordered test or are on probation or parole, you have the right to privacy while providing your urine sample.
The employer is paying for the test so it belongs to them. If you pass, the paperwork will say no detectable amount of the contaminate being tested for has been found. If you fail the paperwork will usually say what your levels were in the examination. You need to ask for the cut off levels tested. If you have been caught by surprise and are in danger of failing your examination, you might want to stall the examination for as long as possible without raising suspicion. It is better to go to the lab and fail to show your I.D. because you forgot the I.D. than refuse to take any examination. Refusal will get you fired. If you just misplaced your ID you will probably have to come back to show the I.D. and then take your examination.
At least ten states (Arkansas, Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and Texas) have outlawed the sale of synthetic urine or adulterants for the purpose to pass a drug test, however obtaining one on the Internet is easy.

In the US, some states have required pregnant women be examined for illegal use as part of their prenatal care. The US Supreme Court ruled the secret examinations of women unconstitutional. But women who arrive to deliver in a hospital have their blood examined and if they detect certain contaminates you can bet you will make not of this and pass it on to the appropriate authorities. A delivering mother could face endangerment charges or even murder if ANY traces are found in her blood.

They all look for very small concentrations of the contaminates by products (called metabolites) that can be used in determining what has been consumed. Other individual factors in determining detection times include your overall fat content, your activity level, the amount and frequency of use, your metabolic rate, as well as your body mass, tolerance, urine PH and age.
